Features
Control Anchor Depth Safely with TMQ’s i@nchor Blackbox via Raymarine Glass Bridge Displays. TMQ Blackbox is a system used to control anchor depth safely. The system can operate in automatic mode by setting the length of the chain to deploy or in manual mode using windlass switches. It is designed to input & output NMEA-2000 and IEC 61162 (NMEA) data into an Ethernet network controlled via MFD app or webpages by computer based system.
Manual Mode
Manual Mode allows users to control an Anchor manually, mainly used for small adjustments or docking the anchor after using Auto mode.
- UP arrow for raising the anchor
- DOWN arrow for lowering the anchor
To prevent accidental button presses, the screen can be lock manually by pressing the “LOCK” button; also, the screen will lock itself when the display does not register a touch for 30 seconds, when it is not on operating mode (raising or lowering the anchor). Once the screen enters LOCK mode all the buttons will be disabled except the “UNLOCK” button. The LOCK button changes to the UNLOCK button once the screen is locked.
Auto Mode
Auto Mode allows the user to lower and raise the anchor to the desired length. The desired length is selected using the button “+” or “-“, once the desired length is selected press the button “RAISE” or “DROP” to lower or raise the anchor. This button will change depending on the status of the Anchor. When the desired length is lower than the current length the button will display RAISE, for pulling the Anchor up. When the desired length is higher than the current length the button will change to DROP, for lowering the Anchor. When the Anchor is operating (Raising or Dropping) the button will display “STOP” for the emergency stop function.
Dual Anchor Manual Mode
Dual Anchor Manual Mode For boats with dual Anchors, i@nchor is capable of controlling both anchor systems. For dual anchor systems the user will need to change the anchor mode to Dual system via “ANCHOR TYPE” setting menu. Dual Anchor Operating principles are very similar to Single Anchor, the only difference is there is two control panels. When the anchor is in asynchronous mode, both control panels are individual. Depending on which control panel is used it will only control that individual Anchor. When the Anchor is in Synchronous mode, both Anchors (Anchor 1 and Anchor 2) become one system. Pressing “UP” button on Anchor 1 or Anchor 2 control panel will raise both Anchors.
Dual Anchor Auto Mode
Dual Anchor Auto mode operate similarly to Dual Anchor Manual mode. The only difference is when the anchor is in synchronous mode changing the desire length of one anchor changes both desired lengths. With asynchronous mode Anchor 1 and Anchor 2 operate individually, depending which control panel is used it will only change that Anchor’s (Anchor 1 or Anchor 2) desired length.
